So, in a nutshell, I pretty much see a lot of changes that have taken place in these past few weeks. Moving from the world’s supposed-best country to a small third-world country on the other side of the planet kinda does that to you. Saying goodbye has never been an easy task to do. No matter how many times I’ve said it in the past, nothing compared to how much it hurt saying goodbye in just these past few hours. For the second time in a row this season, I watched the Longhorns lose a championship match.
First it was against Penn State. Up 2 sets to none, the Longhorns lost the second two and dropped the fifth 13-15. Destinee Hooker was definitely, by far, the best player on that court. Penn State was ranked #1 going into the match and Texas was #2.

These past few weeks have been great. Topped it off with a trip to New York, which was the best thing in the world. Not because we were in NYC, but because we were in NYC together.
